Influential people of my LIFE

I have to say that I have been very lucky because whenever i needed there have been people to help me , guide me and get me out of the impasse. I have been learning a lot from mostly my friends and various people i meet or see them.

I take the privilege to thank some of the people here :
1) Lalitha (Mother) -> well she is the best mom one can have. She has taken so much pain in making me achieve my goals and the ordeal which she has gone through can never be forgotten. I just want to see her happy and will do anything for her. Whatever i will achieve in my life will be dedicated to my mother. She has taught me so much in life that i will make my best effort to implement it in my life.

2) Roopesh (Brother) -> He is one who is very possessive about me and pampers me so much. He is my caretaker and finance minister at home and who makes all the decisions. Very nice person and one who always helps and wishes good for others.

3) SMACK -> my diploma friends group , its an acronym of our names viz Sandeep, Mahesh, Arjun, Chandan, Kaushik (formerly known as Koteshwar rao). They had been with me for 7 precious years during which i enjoyed and learned a lot from each one of them. Life changed a lot when i was with them.

It all started when we sat together on a single bench in diploma and we got to know each other very well and it turned into a great friendship. Infact in diploma we were famous as second bench guys. We went through all the ups and downs of life together and had a great time through various night outs and outings. Even after completing diploma , the friendship continued and I have to dedicate my success in engineering exams to the group studies at Sandeep's home.

I still cant forget the way we enjoyed the moment when i got selected in the campus interview of Tech Mahindra in-fact they kicked my b*tt like crazy. Once we began our corporate life , the numerous treats at various restaurants were just awesome , in-fact we have gone to atleast 50 different restaurants in Bangalore city.

All in all , a very cherished group of friends.

4) Santosh -> My engineering classmate , a very nice person who was always my critic , guide & supporter during my engineering days and continues to be the same. Well i can say he has seen the true side of me and knows me completely and can even guess how will i react in different situations.
All those night outs with him just a night before the exams are truly memorable. I learned a lot from him in life, one thing i picked up is to go for trips every weekend and enjoy life and i followed it in a great way during my days at Tech Mahindra.
5) Raghu uncle is one more person who helped me in a crucial stage of my life.

The idea of Masters in USA

Well if i think back now , the idea of MS has always been there in the back of my mind since high school, it can be called a combination of my mother's dream, my aim of achieving something great by learning advanced technologies and henceforth have a unique identification in the society.

Well once i joined Tech Mahindra and started earning, it automatically made me party more and increased my zest for travelling and trekking , time went so fast that the MS plan took a back seat for a year and in no time i realized that i am doing work which is not what i wished for a year back.

Again i started pondering over the MS plan and dilemma about which is the best place on this earth to pursue my Masters , choice was between Australia and USA . Discussing with lot of people about our aims has lot of pros and cons , for me it worked in negative way because i got so much of feedback to evaluate that by the time i decided that if i have to pursue my masters it has to be USA , one more year of precious time had passed by and also i had achieved nothing great at work during this time apart from being the victim of nepotism in the project which made me even more determined to pursue Masters and to show people that i am talented and much more than what they think.

People say that preparing for Masters itself is a big pain in the a$$ , i can say that its true because i spent one more year viz taking up entrance exams like GRE , TOEFL and deciding upon the universities which i am eligible for and submitting applications to those universities , waiting for the universities response (which is minimum of 3 months ) and by virtue of Gods grace it was a favorable response from most of the universities and then arrived the most crucial decision of my life so far wherein I had to decide the university i would attend for which I had to mail and speak to so many unknown people and after thinking & thinking a lot finally zeroed upon San Diego State University , California for my Masters.

Well they say that
"Everything in life happens for a reason and in most cases it would be for our good"
I am hoping and praying that MS in USA would really help me in developing both of my technical and intellectual qualities.
